I don't know what the FPS game with the jungle setting is. However the 2nd "new" game is called Hellgate London. It is created by Flagship studios(aka Blizzard++) and is made by the top guys from Blizzard that made the Diablo series and left Blizzard to form their own company.

Basically the game is the new Diablo but it also has a FPS feel mixed to it because it can be played from both perspectives.

Wow, Elona is going to be split into 2 areas! It's going to be huge.

According to the image descriptions on that site, the other screenshots are from Crysis, Quake Wars and Hellgate London. Crysis looks awesome.

Now that the desert is completed, maybe we'll get to know what's going on next to Maguuma Jungle in chapter four... wild speculations ftw. ^^

if my theory is correct, the 'starter island' looks about as big as old ascalon. im pressuming this landmass is where you will reach level 20, whence you will reach the mainland. the mainland looks to be pretty damn big, and if the trend of factions is followed with the closely bunched together areas, then it could quite possible be as much landmass as tyria, because while tyrias map is very large, alot of the space on it is 'wasted' and has no explorable areas.

...but we'll see wont we?

Agreed. What scares me is how much money I'll have to sink into my computer to run it...

Or, what's East of Ascalon? I'd like to see that area, too.

And where is Cantha compared to the Tyrian continent?

Do you think Anet has a huge world map drawn up (roughly, and open to change of course), or are they just adding stuff as they come up with it?

I wonder if they're going to add the possibility to choose pale skin tones, for at the moment it seems as if we will only be able to use those oriental colours. I mean, we are able to make all-black characters in an Asian themed world, so I think it would just be logical if we could do it the other way round...

Anyway, this looks so promising, I can't wait to create my Elonian elementalist and, of course, my dervish.
Pale skin... in sunny dessert enviroment

There is a picture of a character model with an afro and a scar face. Is that an armor type for a warrior???

Glad that Elona is bigger than Cantha, but I hope they use a large percentage of the map for us to explore and uncover unlike Cantha.

wow that's a nice collection of screen shots. I guess the people who thought nightfall would be a crystal desert clone can put their minds at ease. Some of those areas look really dark. I can't wait to explore them.

I'm liking that map exploration seems a lot clearer than with Factions. Sometimes it was just hard to tell where I'd been and where I hadn't.

Is it just me or have we still not seen a male dervish? Can't wait to see what they look like.

*blown away by the new login screen*

I'd say it looks more natural, as opposed to you know, standing upon a giant pillar in the middle of an ocean...

Looks awesome. I wonder what's up with the little clusters of floating trees with waterfalls? Pretty damn cool. It also appears that either there will be day and night cycles, or certain areas will be "day" and certain areas will be "night".

Now I'm sad that my processor sucks and my 1GB ram is the recommended requirement instead of double the recommended, I bet the game won't run nearly as nicely for me as GWP and GWF do now

Speaking of log in screens, didn't we get the "Faction's" log in screen around the time of the Factions PvP weekend?..

In other words, can we please get rid of this tired Factions log in and give us the new one, with new log in music?
